DHIS Primary successfully held DHIS Primary’s Got Talent 2025 from 10–12 December 2025 . This event served as a platform for students to perform confidently and showcase the diverse talents and potential they possess.

The event was conducted in two stages: the preliminary rounds on 10–11 December and the final round on 12 December 2025 . The entire series of activities ran smoothly and was filled with high enthusiasm from all participants.

DHIS Primary’s Got Talent aims to provide students with a space for self-expression, build their confidence, and encourage them to recognize and develop their individual talents. Participants performed across six talent categories:

Dance Performance
Drama and Storytelling
Martial Arts and Physical Skills
Creative Arts
Special Skills and Unique Talents

Aaliyah shared that she felt very excited, although she was initially nervous. With the support of her friends, her nervousness gradually faded. She prepared for two days to participate in the Singing and Music Performance category, where she performed a duet with her partner, Badrina, singing “ Bandung ” by Yura Yunita. Through her participation in DHIS Primary’s Got Talent, Aaliyah hopes to gain valuable experience performing in front of a large audience.

DHIS Primary Participates in the International Kids Conference 2025

In celebration of World Children’s Day , DHIS Primary proudly took part in the International Kids Conference (IKC) 2025 , organized by Krya. A total of 24 students from Grades 3–6 joined this international event alongside participants from around the world.

IKC serves as a global platform that encourages children to express their ideas and creativity through projects and visual papers. The conference aims to nurture creativity as the foundation of innovation while strengthening students’ confidence, critical thinking, writing, and presentation skills from an early age.

On Saturday, 22 November 2025 , DHIS students presented their projects online. Their works showcased a wide range of ideas, including introducing Indonesian culture such as batik and rujak, creating a flood detection tool using Arduino, recycling used paper, developing trendy traditional drinks, designing an earthquake-prevention poster related to the Lembang Fault, making bags from recycled plastic, and inventing a smart dustbin to reduce pathogen exposure.

Through this experience, students explored new learning opportunities and shared their ideas on an international stage. Their participation marks an important step in shaping young learners to become creative, innovative, and globally minded individuals.

DHIS Primary Successfully Holds Euphoria 3.0, the Annual Internal English Competition

On 22 October 2025 , DHIS Primary successfully held its annual internal English competition, Euphoria 3.0. The event took place smoothly and was marked by students’ enthusiasm, confidence, and creativity throughout the series of activities.

This year, Euphoria 3.0 featured 10 competition categories, including Spelling Bee, Battle of Brain, Speak and Share, Mini Book Creation, Speech, News Reading, Missing Lyrics, Poem Reading, Storytelling, and Short Story Writing. Each category served as a platform for students to enhance their language proficiency, demonstrate their abilities, and cultivate a deeper interest in learning English.

The school appreciates the active participation of all students, whose efforts and involvement contributed to the success of the event. Their engagement reflects DHIS Primary’s ongoing commitment to fostering meaningful and enriching learning experiences.

A Heartfelt Collaboration Between School and Home “Parents Inspire, Students Aspire”

There are moments in school life that stay in our hearts, moments when learning feels alive, when smiles fill the classroom, and when love connects us all.

One of those moments came to life this week at Darul Hikam Integrated School Primary through our program Parents as Guest Teachers, carrying a beautiful theme “Parents Inspire, Students Aspire.”

This was not just a school event. It was a celebration of togetherness where parents became storytellers, role models, and inspirers. Where students listened not only with their ears but with their hearts.

That morning, the classrooms felt different. There was excitement in the air, small hands raised with curiosity, laughter echoing softly between lessons, and the warm presence of parents who shared their journeys with humility and joy.

Some spoke of their professions, some of life’s challenges, and others of dreams that shaped who they are today. Each story became a spark, a light that touched young hearts, showing that learning is not only about books or numbers, but also about life, effort, and faith.

And as I watched our students listening so intently, their eyes bright with wonder, I realized again how powerful it is when education is rooted in love and lived experience.

At Darul Hikam Intergated School Primary, we believe education is not a one-way journey. It is a shared path walked by teachers, parents, and children hand in hand. Through this program, we witnessed how that belief takes shape. Parents teaching, children learning, teachers smiling with pride, a perfect harmony of hearts and minds.

Our deepest gratitude goes to all parents and class coordinators whose time, presence, and warmth have strengthened our community.

DHIS Students Welcome Special Guests from BMKG Bandung

Today, the students of Darul Hikam International School had a wonderful opportunity to welcome guests from BMKG Bandung through the “ BMKG Goes to School ” program. This activity is part of BMKG’s educational outreach to increase students’ awareness and understanding of natural phenomena, especially earthquakes.

During the session, the BMKG team shared fascinating information about the Lembang Fault ( Sesar Lembang ), one of the active faults located near Bandung. Students learned how to identify potential earthquake hazards and the proper steps to reduce risks in the event of an earthquake. They were also introduced to simple yet important mitigation efforts that can be applied both at school and at home.

Through this event, it is hoped that students not only gain new knowledge but also develop preparedness and a sense of responsibility when facing natural disasters. May today’s experience inspire them to always stay curious, alert, and caring toward their environment.

Learning Beyond the Classroom: DHIS Primary Katamso Field Trip 2025

All students of DHIS Primary Katamso on September 10, 2025, embarked on a field trip to various locations in Bandung and its environs. This field trip, conducted every other semester, aims to provide students with an opportunity to learn from the real environments. Through visits to different places, students are meant to see and experience firsthand what they have learned in class. The exercise also expands their knowledge and promotes team spirit and friendship among fellow students.

For this semester's outing, all the grade levels visited a different location with special learning activities. Grade 1 students visited Jendela Alam and learned about gardening and observed numerous different species of animals. Grade 2 students visited the Science Center Soreang, having science exhibits, watching a 4D movie, and taking part in a fun science workshop to make slime. Grade 3 students joined team-building and outbound exercises in Villa Kancil, while Grade 4 students enjoyed fun learning and team building in Kampung Batu Malakasari Ecopark.

Grade 5 students experienced an exciting learning process in Udjo Ecoland, and Grade 6 students enhanced their teamwork skills through team building and outbound exercises in Cantigi Camp. Through this school outing, DHIS Primary Katamso continues to strengthen experiential learning connecting students' classroom learning with the real world and experiences of getting wonderful friendship while they play.

Today’s field trip was super fun and exciting! I learned many new things, especially about science tools, Sundanese culture, and the science workshop where we made slime. My favorite part was watching the 4D movie and trying the singing bowl, a musical instrument made of metal that produces sound when struck with a special stick. It was such an amazing experience.

Celebrating 80 Years of Freedom

80 years of freedom. What does that truly mean? For Indonesia, it is not just a number. It is a reminder of sacrifice, resilience, and the unyielding spirit of a nation that refused to be broken. On the 17th of August 1945, after centuries of colonial rule, Indonesia stood tall and declared to the world: We are free.

Freedom did not come easily. For more than 300 years, Indonesia was under Dutch colonial power, and later faced Japanese occupation during World War II. Generations of Indonesians endured hardship, oppression, and struggle. Yet, through that darkness, the flame of hope never died. On that historic Friday morning, Sukarno and Mohammad Hatta, standing in Jakarta, proclaimed Indonesia’s independence. Their voices carried the dreams of millions, a promise that this land and its people would no longer bow to foreign rule.

The journey was not over. The Dutch tried to reclaim control, leading to years of conflict, bloodshed, and resistance. But the Indonesian spirit was unshakable. Farmers, students, mothers, fathers, soldiers, and even children united in one common cause: Merdeka. Finally, in 1949, the Dutch formally recognized Indonesia’s independence, and the dream of a free nation became reality.

Since then, every 17th of August is not just a date—it is a celebration of identity, unity, and pride. Across the archipelago, from big cities to small villages, people honor this day with passion. Schools, offices, and communities gather for flag-raising ceremonies, where the red and white flag flutters as a symbol of courage and purity. Streets come alive with laughter as children join sack races, climbing greased poles, and tug-of-war battles that reflect Indonesia’s joy, creativity, and togetherness. Houses and neighborhoods are decorated with red and white, reminding us that independence is a gift to be cherished and protected.

But beyond the games, music, and parades, Independence Day is a moment of reflection. It is a time to remember the heroes who gave their lives, the families who endured suffering, and the leaders who carried the nation’s hopes on their shoulders. Their legacy is the reason we can learn, work, dream, and live in freedom today.

80 years later, the spirit of independence continues to guide us. It calls on every Indonesian to uphold unity, respect diversity, and contribute to building a better future. Because independence is not just something to be celebrated—it is something to be lived, every single day. So as we raise our flags high this Independence Day, let us carry the message of 1945 in our hearts: that Indonesia, from Sabang to Merauke, is one nation, united, free, and forever proud.

My Skating Journey

Hi! My name is Lakeisha Dhiyya Jennaira, but you can call me Jenna. I am 9 years old and currently a 4th-grade student at Darul Hikam Integrated School - Primary. Besides being a student, I am also a figure skating athlete. I proudly represent West Java & our lovely country Indonesia, and Garden Ice Skating Club Academy at some National and International Ice Skating Competitions. Figure skating is very special to me. I love it because it combines dancing, movement, and expression in such a graceful way. Since this sport is still quite rare in Indonesia, I feel motivated to explore it deeply and hopefully inspire more young people to try it.

Of course, skating is not always easy. There are so many challenges, especially when it comes to learning new elements on the ice. But I actually enjoy challenges, it makes me stronger and more determined to improve. To support my performance on the rink, I also train off the ice. I do independent gym sessions, pilates, and other exercises regularly. Consistency is very important because strong physical training helps me skate better.

I am very grateful to have three amazing coaches in Bandung who always support me. Thanks to them, I’ve been able to prepare for competitions and grow as a skater. I really love joining competitions because they give me the chance to perform, to show my choreography on ice, and to share my passion with an audience. Competitions also teach me valuable lessons such as staying calm, being powerful, and connecting with the music so that I can give my best performance. For me, figure skating is not only about technique, but also about challenging myself and enjoying the moment on the ice.

So far, I have joined many competitions. My very first international competition was Skate Asia 2023 in Hong Kong. Alhamdulillah, I won two gold medals—one in the Technical Delta category and another in the Spotlight Character category. That was such a proud moment because I could represent both my club and Indonesia.

In June 2024, I had another unforgettable experience when I represented Indonesia at the Madani Cup (Malaysia National Open Figure Skating Championship). Once again, Alhamdulillah, I brought home a gold medal. I have also joined several competitions in Jakarta under the ISI Asia Series, and I was honored to participate in the Indonesia National Championship PON Exhibition XXI 2024. That was my very first national-level competition, and I competed in Starlet 1 Level. The atmosphere was intense, and the other skaters were amazing. Alhamdulillah, I won a gold medal among 10 participants. I felt so grateful, not only because I won, but also because I proved to myself that I could rise to the challenge.

In 2025, my journey continued. In April, I competed in the Indonesia National Championship in Jakarta, this time stepping up to the Pre-Preliminary Level, which is two levels higher than my previous national competition. It was tough! I had to perform the axel jump, one of the most challenging elements in figure skating. An axel requires you to rotate one and a half times in the air before landing. Unfortunately, I fell during my first axel attempt, which made me very sad and disappointed. I finished in 5th place out of 18 skaters. At first, I felt crushed because I had practiced so hard and believed I could land it perfectly.

But my parents reminded me that in life there are always ups and downs. Falling is not the end, it’s a chance to stand up stronger. That experience taught me resilience, humility, and the importance of trusting Allah’s plan. Even though I didn’t get the result I wanted, I know it made me grow mentally and emotionally. Then, in August 2025, I joined Skate Asia again, this time held in Jakarta. Alhamdulillah, I had an amazing competition and won five gold medals and one silver medal. I was so happy to compete with talented skaters from all over Asia. It was a beautiful reminder that hard work, persistence, and faith always pay off in the end.

Looking ahead, I am very excited for more competitions. I want to keep improving, perform even better, and most importantly, enjoy every moment on the ice. My dream is to represent Indonesia in bigger international events and inspire others to believe that nothing is impossible with dedication and passion.

Lastly, I want to say how grateful I am to be part of DHIS. To Miss Ati, Mr. Bayu, Mr. Khan, Miss Silvy, Miss Yennie, Miss Delela, and all my teachers and friends—thank you so much for your endless support and prayers. It really means the world to me. I know I could not have achieved all of this without your encouragement and kindness.

FOSBB and Al-Qur’an Days: Preparing Indonesia’s Golden Generation with Akhlaq and Achievement

DHIS Primary warmly welcomed new students for the 2025/2026 academic year through a thoughtfully organized five-day orientation program that integrated both academic introduction and spiritual enrichment. The first part of the program, FOSBB (Forum Orientasi Siswa Berakhlak Berprestasi) , was held from 14th to 16th July 2025, followed by Al-Qur’an Days on 17th and 18th July 2025. The orientation concluded with the New Students Inauguration Ceremony , held on Monday, 21st July 2025, at Pesantren Saintek Darul Hikam in Dago Giri.

The theme of this year’s FOSBB was “Preparing Indonesia’s Golden Generation with Akhlaq and Achievement.” Over the course of three days, students were introduced to the school environment, connected with peers, and engaged in activities designed to build character and confidence. On the first day, students were introduced to DHIS Primary and its teachers, and they played games to help them get comfortable with the new environment. On the second day, students began with the Dhuha prayer, participated in a fun English session, and explored the school grounds. The third day featured storytelling, English activities, and a creative puppet-making workshop that encouraged self-expression and creativity.

The orientation program continued with Al-Qur’an Days on 17th and 18th July 2025. Under the theme “Internalizing the Qur’an in Daily Life to Create a Generation with Good Akhlaq and Achievements,” the first day featured Hello Hijaiyah, an interactive introduction to Arabic letters, accompanied by reflections on the significance of loving and understanding the Qur’an. On the second day, students participated in Tasmi’ Qur’an (recitation), listened to Qur’anic stories emphasizing core values, and were paired with a Qur’an Buddy to support one another in memorization. The program concluded with Memory Day , during which students shared their experiences and insights, thereby reinforcing the lessons acquired throughout the orientation.

This year’s FOSBB and Al-Qur’an Days effectively established a solid foundation for a holistic educational experience, harmonizing academic preparedness with the development of moral integrity and spiritual awareness. By instilling these fundamental values from the outset, DHIS Primary reaffirms its dedication to cultivating Indonesia’s golden generation—individuals who will mature into not only intellectually capable but also ethically grounded and accomplished members of society.

DHIS Primary Asesmen Sumatif Akhir Jenjang (ASAJ) 2025

Asesmen Sumatif Akhir Jenjang (ASAJ) 2025 is final evaluation of a series of educational activities in elementary school education units. Summative Assessment is held as an effort to improve the quality of national education as mandated in the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 21 of 2022.

The form of summative assessment that will be implemented by Darul Hikam Integrated School Primary based on Permendikbud Number 21 of 2022, namely Written Test and Non-Written Test (Portfolio, practice, combination).

The assessment held from 14-23 May 2025. The students will have different types of assessment for every subjects.

Hopefully, with Asesmen Sumatif Akhir Jenjang (ASAJ), it can provide a maximum result of how the assessment process takes place, especially for all parties involved and playing a role in organizing education. The aim is that educational assessment will be even better in accordance with the goals of our country, namely to educate the nation's life.

Euphoria 2.0: Encouraging Students to be More Confident Using English

Every year, Darul Hikam Integrated School holds its annual English event which is Euphoria 2.0 on 30th May 2025. As a form of English fun and creativity, a competition featured a variety of talent showcases including this year’s edition which had new activities such as Spelling Bee, News Reading, Poetry Recitation, Mini Book Creation and even Speech. All students from DHIS Primary were able to participate on all grade levels.

In the weeks leading to this event, students and teachers were extremely excited to participate. Almeera Rahil who is in Primary 1G was first timer at Euphoria but performed exceptionally well, bringing home 3rd place in the spelling bee and winning the mini book competition. “I am so happy. I didn’t expect to win on my first try and it really helped boost my confidence".

Participation in such Euphoria 2.0 exercises helps foster one's character in addition to academics such as public speaking, self confidence, creative thinking and critical analysis. The school will be looking to sustain this tradition every year which in turn helps provide students with something unforgettable to look forward to.

Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Examination 2025

This year our school held our first Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Examination since we have the school ID for Cambridge in 2024. We held the assessment in Katamso Campus on 21-23 April 2025.

The subjects for Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Examination are English as second language, Mathematics and Science. The students have been prepared this examination intensively since January 2025. We have an additional class on Saturday, Try Out for th e Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Examination and also we held the simulation of Cambridge Primary Checkpoin Examination.

Besides those activities, we also held motivation training to enhance the spirit and focus of the students during the examination. Hopefully the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Examination result will be as all planned before. Let us gives our best support for the result.

Earth Day 2025 in Darul Hikam Integrated School Primary: Small Hands, Big Change!

Darul Hikam Integrated School Primary celebrated Earth Day 2025 with the inspiring theme of “Small Hands, Big Change”. Activities filled the day as students were reminded to take care of the environment in simple yet meaningful ways. From planting water spinach (kangkung) that they will be harvesting one day themselves, to cleaning their classrooms and the school environment, the students were excited to contribute to a larger good.

The activity also included a poster-making activity where students expressed their love and care for the Earth through colorful and meaningful art. Emir Aqila from Primary 5E stated, "This activity is fun and can motivate our students to protect and keep the Earth clean."

Naila from Primary 3E added by saying, "We know that we have little hands and the Earth is big, but if we protect the Earth, big things can happen.” Her words speak about the spirit of the day that none of us is too small to bring big changes, provided we cooperate for the greater good of our world.

Joyful Ramadan DHIS Primary 2025

On this holy month of Ramadan, DHIS Primary have various Ramadan Activities to celebrate the holy Ramadan :

Infaq Ramadan, the students collect Infaq during ramadan to raise the social awareness and to share with others who are in need.
Zakat, Infaq and Shadaqah, the students do the education of zakat, infaq and shadaqah, so they can implement the pillars of Islam in daily life and also learn the ijab qabul du’a during zakat, infaq and shadaqah.
Barbekua (Barang Bekas Berkualitas), the students donate their used goods with good quality like clothes, toys , books etc, to share with the community around the school.
Iftar Jama’i with Yatim, the students will invite the Rumah Yatim children to come to school and break the fasting together. This activity will raise the social awareness of the students.
Ramadan Competition, where the students will compete on various competition in each level and learn more about Islamic knowledge and ibadah during ramadan.

DHIS Primary Students Attachment Program 2025 : New Experience, New Insight

SAP or Students Attachment Program is a program conducted in Darul Hikam Integrated School Primary to build strong relationship and cooperation between internal students and students from abroad. In the academic year 2024-2025, the students of Primary 5 were able to go to Malaysia and Singapore to visit some schools and do some amazing activities such as cultural exchange, school tours and of course sit-in program. They stayed in both countries for 8 days with 4 days on each country started from 2 ^nd -9 ^th February 2025. Besides visiting the school, they also visited some historical buildings, landmarks, and educational center.

Exploring Malaysia

The students’ first destination during this program is Malaysia. Primary 5 students visited Al Khair Integrated School and Alhamra Integrated School. In both of the school, the students do the school tour, cultural exchange and sit-in program. For the school tour, the students not only explored the facility there, but also visited some classes and got introduced to the students from level 1 until level 6. They were really friendly and welcomed us warmly. On the same day, we got some cultural exchange. They sang and danced some traditional songs from Malaysia. The same with us. Our students performed “Yamko Rambe Yamko”. They were really curious about our cultures as well. On the second day of the visit, we did a sit-in program. In this program the students from DHIS Primary learned together in the same class with the local students. They learned some lessons and made a lot of friends. While on the last day, we had a sport activities together.

Besides visiting the schools, the students also had some city tour. They visited the landmarks of Malaysia like Dataran Merdeka, Istana Negara, The Petronas Twin Tower, Putrajaya Complex, and Pink Mosque. They also visited the science centre there which is Petrosains and explored a lot of science experiments.

Exploring Singapore

On the fourth day, the students flew to Singapore to continued their journey. In Singapore, Primary 5 students visited Madrasah Wak Tanjong Islamiyah School. The students also had a lot of great experiences by having school tour, cultural exchange and sit-in program, just what they did in Malaysia, but of course with different students, cultures and vibes.

Besides that, the students also had a memorable experiences by exploring the biggest mosque in Singapore which is Mesjid Sultan. They learned how Islam and Moslem people took a big role in Singaporean cultures which is dominated by Chinese and christian cultures. To satisfy their eagerness of exploring new places, they also spent lot of happy time at Universal Studios Singapore and Garden by the Bay.

The students really made a great memories and learned a lot of new things and experiences. They were able to see and experience by themselves, how people live their lives in other countries. Not only about the educational system, but also the social interaction and rules in public places. Hopefully they can get new insight and able to take the good things to be implemented at our school, DHIS Primary.

Isra Miraj Commemoration

Isra Miraj is a significant event in Islamic history, and to celebrate it, Darul Hikam Integrated School Primary held a meaningful event. Three storytellers were invited to play exciting puppet shows in three campus, Lower Level Campus (Katamso), Upper Level Campus (Supratman) and Buah Batu Campus. Immersive and engaging storytelling sessions on Isra Miraj were conducted, making it interesting and comprehensible for the students.

This event was held on 22nd January 2025 and was designed to enhance students' knowledge and understanding of Isra Miraj and its importance in Islamic teachings. Through it, Allah also wanted to remind them to perform salah (prayers) in accordance with his commandment that was revealed to Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wassalam during the sacred journey. Using interactive and creative storytelling, students were encouraged to reflect on the lessons learned from this momentous occasion.

Primary 1 students, Raffasya Syafiq and Sayaka were excited about the celebration. They said they enjoyed it and found the event to be exciting. However, the puppet show was not just fun, it was something they would remember, a wonderful way to learn a significant part of their religion.

Darul Hikam Run 2025

Darul Hikam Foundation (DH) held the "6th DH Run" fun run in Bandung on Saturday, January 18, 2025. More than 5,000 people joined, including children from kindergarten to adults. The 5-kilometer run started and finished at Gedung Sate, passing the well-known streets in Bandung such as Jalan Dago, Jalan Merdeka, Jalan Cilaki, GOR Saparua, and Jalan Riau.

The Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly (MPR RI), Ahmad Muzani, participated in the run and praised the event. “I am very happy with this event because it inspires and encourages people to live healthily,” he said. He hopes that DH Run will continue every year so sports lovers can always take part.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Darul Hikam Foundation, Sodik Mudjahid, explained that the event is part of Darul Hikam’s teamwork with many parties. “DH Run is one of our efforts to strengthen collaboration and synergy. Today, students, parents, teachers, the community, business partners, and small businesses (UMKM) have gathered to make this event more festive,” he said. Mr. Sodik also highlighted Darul Hikam’s role in education. “In a bigger picture, this event is part of our mission to expand and strengthen Darul Hikam as an educational institution.” He added that Darul Hikam plans to open 20 more school branches to spread Islamic education.

The event organizer, Septi Yulia Roza, emphasized that DH Run is not about winning. “Because this is a fun run, we don’t have a podium for the fastest runners, but we have exciting prizes, including motorcycles and a full Umrah package, so don’t miss out!”

Almost all the students of DHIS Primary also joined in the fun run with great excitement. They enjoyed the lively atmosphere, running alongside friends, teachers, and family members. Many of them were thrilled to receive prizes and gifts, making the event even more memorable. From lucky draws to special surprises, the students celebrated the day with joy, laughter, and a sense of achievement.

DHIS Primary Students Shine in International Wushu Championship in Bali

From December 15 to 21, 2024, Kuta, Bali, hosted the prestigious 1st Indonesia International Kungfu Championship (INA IKC) , a groundbreaking event uniting Wushu and Kungfu practitioners worldwide. With IWUF rules, the championship showcased both Wushu Taolu and Traditional Kungfu, emphasizing the sport's rich cultural heritage. The event also promoted Bali as "The Island of Sport Tourism."

Among the standout participants were our proud students from DHIS Primary, who delivered remarkable performances, they were Kent Natra Aziz (Primary 6), Sebiakila Artasya Basuni (Primary 6), Nadhif Athalla Zhafran (Primary 5), and Muhammad Farrel Alghazali (Primary 5). Nadhif displayed exceptional skill, securing two gold medals in the Changquan Group C Male and Qiangshu Group C Male categories. His versatility earned him a silver medal in the Jianshu Group C Male category, strengthening his reputation as a rising star in Wushu.

Another participant, Sebiakila proudly represented the school in the Shanzi Group B Female category, earning a bronze medal with her dedication and precision. Meanwhile, Farrel , competing under Delapan Naga Wushu Indonesia club also achieved a bronze medal in the Changquan Group C Male category, showcasing his persistence and athleticism.

This international championship, organized under the leadership of Airlangga Hartarto, Chairman of PB Wushu Indonesia, aimed to promote global friendship among Wushu practitioners while introducing Bali’s unique culture and tourist attractions to the world.

The achievements of DHIS Primary students not only highlight their hard work and dedication but also serve as inspiration for young athletes in Indonesia to explore and excel in martial arts. Di tepi pantai yang tenang, tinggal seorang pemuda bernama Arif. Sejak kecil, ia bermimpi menjadi fotografer terkenal. Setiap hari, ia menjelajahi pantai, menangkap momen-momen indah dengan kameranya: ombak yang berdebur, matahari terbenam, dan burung-burung terbang. Namun, keraguan sering menghantuinya.

Suatu hari, saat Arif memotret, seorang fotografer terkenal bernama Dimas melihat karyanya dan berkata, “Foto-foto ini luar biasa! Mengapa tidak mengikuti kompetisi fotografi di kota? Ini kesempatanmu!”

Terinspirasi oleh kata-kata Dimas, Arif mempersiapkan foto - foto terbaiknya selama beberapa minggu. Hari kompetisi tiba, Arif merasa gugup melihat banyak fotografer berbakat. Ketika gilirannya tiba, ia menceritakan kisah di balik fotonya: sebuah potret matahari terbenam yang melambangkan harapan.

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Why this is so hard!” Said a 13 years old boy called Rizki as he opened a Science book to learn. It has been his dream to be a scientist since he was a kindergarten student. “Huh, maybe I just need to forget this dream,” Rizki complained. Even though he said that, but at the same time he imagined himself become a scientist and do all the research in a lab. Because he’s too focus for imaginating, he didn’t realize his assistant from his imagination, Dr. Ahmad has cames to real life! Dr. Ahmad is a scientist who has the same age like Rizki.

“Professor Rizki did you need any help?” said Dr Ahmad. “Dad! This is not the right time to play.” replied Rizki as he thinks his dad who say it. “Sorry but I’m not your dad Rizki,” said Dr. Ahmad. Rizki than shocked and happy at the same time. But when he calm, he explained he is not a smart man like his imagination. Ahmad then say an inspirational word “Rizki, maybe you are not a smart boy, but you have a good imagination, that what scientist needed.”

Days after days after the event. Rizki always learn with Ahmad after school. Now he is a last year senior high school student. Once upon a day, Rizki looked like he is confused. Ahmad who see this than ask what happen. “I don’t know what I need to do for my year end project.” said Rizki. “What is it effective wire? I’ll help you.” said Ahmad. “Good idea! I ever heard from my teacher that gold has a better electric conductivity than about?” Asked Ahmad. “It’s about electricity.” replied Rizki. “Hmmm, how about you make a more copper that we use nowadays.” said Rizki. But they also realised gold is also expensive so they tried to mix gold with other metal.

The presentation day of year end project. “Rizki, now is your turn.” said his teacher. “Ok, sir. So for this year project about electricity I made a better wire than we use today. I used the mixture of gold and copper to make the wire not too expensive. I also use rubber for the casing. I got a help from my friend to made this. That’s all from me, thank you.” Everyone then gave a big applause for this brilliant idea. His teacher who records this send it to a company who search for a young scientist.

Thanks to his presentation and Ahmad, now Rizki has become a scientist like his dream since he was little.

International Conference Kids 2024

Additionally, our primary objective is to provide a platform where they can freely express their emotions, ideas, and creativity during their formative years. The International Kids Conference goes beyond this; it strives to assist children in boosting their thinking, writing, and presentation skills.

International Kids Conference aims to support the United Nations in celebrating World Children's Day. It serves as a global platform where children from all corners of the world can come together to share their thoughts and creations by submitting visual papers. The International Kids Conference is an initiative created to offer children an opportunity to express their imaginative concepts and inventive undertakings. It also serves as a space for them to nurture their creativity to its fullest potential, akin to ascending a mountain of creativity. Encouraging children to engage in these activities undoubtedly enhances their skills and self-assurance, ensuring a brighter and more promising future for them.

On 23 November 2024, children from across the world come together, sharing their thoughts and creativity by submitting visual papers that reflect their unique perspectives. Our school participate the International Kids Conference by sending 30 kids speakers, and 2 moderators. Our theme for the project comes from the STEM and social projects, that is using waste in our daily life especially plastic waste. We make the sustainable city mockup, wind turbine from plastic waste, making traditional houses and games, and many more project.

DHIS Primary biannual event to hone students' critical and analytical thinking in creating STEM Projects in groups. The STEM projects created include Magnetic Maze for Primary 1-2, Robotic Hand for Primary 3-4 and Wind Turbine Model for Primary 5-6. Making the project and preparing the presentation took approximately 3 weeks. After creating a project, students present the results of their project in front of a panel of judges consisting of parent representatives and STEM experts.

Testimonial from one of the parents who was the jury, Larasati Dwi Chandra, said that this event challenged children to create projects that involved analytical thinking skills, teamwork and the ability to present project results through presentations. This will train students' self-confidence and develop various soft skills that students must have.

Commemoration of Mawlid Prophet Muhammad SAW at Darul Hikam Integrated School Primary

On September 18th, Wednesday the Primary School of Darul Hikam Integrated School conducted an event to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Held at two locations, the Supratman Building and the Buah Batu Unit, this occasion was a memorable one as well.

On this occasion Sheikh Belal Al Habil was presented to deliver an encouraging speech. He brought stories of the children of Palestine and the challenges that they face, faith and the will to endure. This was a great inspiration to the students, providing them emotional and spiritual fuel. The students were very much moved by this and felt close to children from Palestine, sharing their empathy.

On this event, DHIS Primary collaborated with Lazis Darul Hikam to collect funds in support of Palestine. In this fundraising activity, the students who participated were able to extend help to victims of the situation in the Palestine, more particularly children.

After the speech from Syekh Belal, the activities continued with entertaining and interesting games aimed at the understanding of the history and exemplary behavior of Prophet Muhammad (PUBH). During these interactive games, the student was able to explore more of the life of the Prophet in an interesting way.

The entire event left impact for the students, combining spiritual reflection, charitable action, and joyful way of learning. It was a meaningful way to celebrate the life and values of the Prophet Muhammad while fostering both education and empathy in the students’ hearts.

Memorable Field Trips at DHIS Primary in the First Semester

Students in DHIS Primary have visited some educational destinations through very fun field trips during the first semester of this academic year. Each grade has visited different places to add new knowledge. Primary 2 students enjoyed their Interactive Science Visit to Puspa Iptek. Similarly exciting was the Primary 1 outing to Jendela Alam for hands-on practice in nature, animals, and farming.

Primary 3 and 4 students developed teamwork and leadership in outdoor activities in Cantigi Camp, Primary 5 visited Kampung Adat Cireundeu to understand traditional Indonesian culture and ways of living a sustainable life. In so doing, the trips added to their rich experiences and further deepened the understanding of the students in many subjects by encouraging them to relate to the world around them.

Meanwhile, the Primary 6 students rounded up the seasons of field trips into nature studies in a forest area when they went on a trip to Grafika Cikole. Students at Buah Batu Campus took a study tour to the Geology Museum, Sri Baduga Museum, Imah Batik, and Al Jabbar Mosque, which covers the Gallery of Rasulullah. These unforgettable tours must have indeed left an unforgettable mark in the students' minds and made the first semester really exciting..

Celebrating Independence Day at Darul Hikam Integrated School Primary

On August 16th, Darul Hikam Integrated School Primary held an exciting celebration to commemorate Indonesia's Independence Day. The event took place across three campuses at the same time: Katamso Campus for the lower level, Supratman Campus for the upper level, and Buah Batu Campus.

The day started with a short assembly at each campus where students and teachers celebrated the spirit of independence. After the ceremony was over, some of the competitions were organized, which were not only designed for fun but also aimed to equip students with life skills.

The competitions were designed to give the participants practice in the elements of leadership, teamwork, strategic thinking, and basic life skills. By these fun, interactive competitions, the students were given the opportunity to enhance their abilities while having a great time and getting much encouragement to do so; also, they were exposed to the deeper understanding of the independence principle and the art of cooperation.

This annual event has become both an educational and a cultural symbol. We remember the Indonesians historical facts and at the same time, we prepare students to be stronger and more successful in the future. Darul Hikam Integrated School Primary is honored to be a part of the students' development, putting emphasis on the quality of education so that the challenges of the future would not be a difficult point for students.

The Euphoria 2024 (English Olympics of Primary) 2024

DHIS Primary recently hosted the much-anticipated event, an internal English competition called “Euphoria 2024: English Olympics of Primary 2024”. This newly event was conducted on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 and is expected to be held annually to exhibit students’ English skills. Euphoria 2024 showcased students their English language skills in various exciting competitions, including Spelling Bee, Story Telling, Speech, and Singing.

Started in the early morning, the event began with the classic preliminary Spelling Bee, where all students excitedly faced off in a battle of words. Words by words were carefully pronounced by the judges and cautiously spelled by all students in the writing form.

In the next competition, Storytelling, students were passionately showing their enthusiasm through enchanting and heartwarming stories they shared. Not only through storytelling, but also their creative and catching costumes made imaginations took flight and tales came to life. Surely, their performance spellbound all the spectators and the judges.

Of similar captivating competition, Speech, was held to arise young speakers their thoughts on topics close to the Earth Day, leaving a lasting impression with their confidence and conviction to bring awareness to other people of our lovely mother earth. And then there was the Singing Competition, that filling the air with melodies, smiles and joys as students showcased their vocal talents with passion.

The series of Euphoria event ended by a heart-pounding final round of Spelling Bee, the atmosphere was charged as they tackled increasingly difficult spellings in verbal, showing incredible focus, determination, and a few butterflies in their stomachs.

Throughout the day, students came together to cheer on the participants and celebrate their achievements. Euphoria 2024 was eventually not more than just a competition but was a day of companionship, growth, and the pure joy of learning and performing. This also marked as a breakthrough to maintain students’ speaking habit in English in DHIS Primary. Thus, not only awarding students winning competition, but also, announcing the award for the students actively speaking in English.

Student Attachment Program 2024 : New Experience, New Insight

SAP or Students Attachment Program is a program conducted in Darul Hikam Integrated School Primary to build strong relationship and cooperation between internal students and students from abroad. After being vacuum for about 5 years due to pandemic Covid-19, Alhamdulillah, this program can be continued to be established in 2024. In the academic year 2023-2024, the students of Primary 5 and 6 were able to go to Malaysia and Singapore to visit some schools and do some amazing activities such as cultural exchange, school tours and of course sit-in program. They stayed in both countries for 8 days with 4 days on each country started from 14th to 21st January 2024. Besides visiting the school, they also visited some historical buildings, landmarks, and educational centre.

The students’ first destination during this program is Malaysia. Primary 5 students visited Greenview Islamic School while Primary 6 students visited High Impact School. In both of the school, the students do the school tour, cultural exchange and sit-in program. Commemoration of National Patriot's Day in Darul Hikam Primary Katamso Campus

Indonesia observes Patriot Day annually on November 10th. It also serves as a solemn reminder of the tragic event that occurred in Surabaya. On this day, DHIS Primary students in Katamso commemorate the struggle of Indonesian heroes who fought against the colony. On this remembrance day, students follow a series of activities, such as watching the video about History of 10 November, joining in the First Rank Quiz, and writing on the Gratitude Tree.

In the first activity, DHIS Primary students enthusiastically watch the video of the struggle of ‘ arek-arek Suroboyo ’ with Bung Tomo as the leader while battling the invaders. The activity expects students to foster their sense of responsibility to preserve struggle in every condition, as well as national pride of Indonesia's patriots. Reflecting the spirit of heroes, DHIS Primary students excitedly participate in the quiz and answer the questions about heroes eagerly.

The commemoration of Indonesia Patriot’s Day also encourages DHIS Primary students to recognize their own heroes through expressing gratitude for the extraordinary contribution and sacrifice in the Gratitude Tree project. In this project, DHIS Primary students deliver their gratitude to the heroes who emerged in their life, including their parents, teachers, police, nurse, doctor, and other significant heroes.

On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, Darul Hikam Integrated School Primary Buah Batu buzzed with excitement as it commemorated Indonesia's Patriot Day. The day started with a thought-provoking activity—students gathered to watch a historical video recounting the event of November 10. Following the screening, Aisha Farras (Student of 4E) and Ashalina (Student of 1E), shared the impactful messages they got from the videos. Their reflections resonated with themes of courage, sacrifice, and the collective spirit of the nation's heroes.

The event was followed by the poetry reading competition where the representatives of each classes performed a patriotic poetry. Mochammad Arvael Prima Yassero (Student of 3E) stole the spotlight, claiming the first-place winner for his emotionally poetry reading on the theme of heroes. The competition not only showcased the students' literary talents but also served as a powerful platform to honor and celebrate the nation's courageous figures.

The atmosphere of patriotism heightened with the First Rank Quiz, a unique competition where all students participated, and only those who consistently answered questions correctly can take part in the next round. The intensity of the quiz reflected the students' enthusiasm to test their knowledge of Indonesian history and culture. In the end, Emir Aqila Praba Pratama (Student of 4E) came up as the winner, proving his outstanding knowledge about Indonesia.

Batik Day 2023

In 2009, UNESCO recognized Indonesian batik as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Batik Day is celebrated on October 2. Darul Hikam Primary Buah Batu recently held a special event centered around the theme of "emulating the akhlaq of Prophet Muhammad SAW to create a young generation with good akhlaq and achievement." This event aimed to instill the noble qualities and teachings of Prophet Muhammad into the hearts of the young students. Guiding the event was Mr. Fadli, who shared the inspirational story of the birth of Prophet Muhammad SAW, emphasizing the Prophet's exemplary character and values.

Following the captivating storytelling session, the students embarked on an engaging treasure hunt. In this unique activity, students had to search for three envelopes scattered around the school premises, each containing a piece of the Prophet's exemplary life story. Once they found these pieces, the students collaborated to piece them together into a coherent narrative. This hands-on activity not only reinforced their understanding of the Prophet's life but also encouraged teamwork and creativity among the students, fostering a deeper appreciation for the values they aim to emulate. The Dream of a Slumber

At a day time, someone went fishing in a lake hoping to find out something, all because a myth was made at that lake and she didn’t believe it. After fishing for a long time, she caught really heavy one. She pulled the rod like her life depends on it. She caught a heavy fish or I guess you could say, ’a creature’. The girl screamed in shock, it was a cute looking creature or maybe an animal no one ever seen. The creature thanked the girl.

After about 20 minutes, they finally introduced themselves to each other. “Varkha, nice to meet you.” The girls said, “Luscina.” The creature said. The cold reply Luscina said made Varkha a little disappointed. Varkha felt familiar with Luscina’s personality. It was as if she was dreaming. “Would you like to explore this world?” Luscina said with a cold voice like she was some kind of bad guy. “Sure!” Varkha said with excitement.

Both of them went to a place called the “Whispering Woods.” Luscina looked up and flew to the tree. “Woah! You can fly?” Varkha said in a shock. While walking, Luscina talked about the history of the whispering woods, it was stated that there used to be a melody that could be heard by anyone that walks at this place. That’s why it’s called the whispering woods. This journey continued as they walked to a city called “Florange” (Pronounced Flow-range). They went to a safe and comfortable place to rest in.

Next day, they investigated the city more. Varkha felt like both of them were travellers who travelled at this world. However, Luscina felt like she could be someone famous for doing this. They went to another city after exploring Florange. Varkha pretended like she’s the main character and Luscina as her travelling companion. Luscina talked more about the history of this world forgetting that they were already walking for a long time. Varkha would always be interested in this world’s history. Varkha got so hyped she forgot the she’s supposed to go home.

Already noon and none of them realized they’ve been walking for ages. Also, no one noticed, but Varkha did not realize that she’s been calling these places as if it was a whole new world. Hours have passed, they’re currently at library, reading books like any normal beings. Luscina was reading about the dimensions, as for Varkha, she’s reading about meaning of crowns. The library has closed even though they are still there.

They woke up then realized they have been spending the night at a library. Luscina seemed suprprised but she had expected this. Varkha as well but, she would have never expected something like this. No one cared that they had been spending the night at the library. It came to Varkha’s mind she had been talking to a stranger and exploring with her.

All the book Varkha was reading, she found a crown that looks exactly like Luscina’s hat. In the book, it said that “If you take this crown and break it, you will find out that the Queen of Eternity has disappeared.” Varkha was surprised but she is a stranger that Varkha just met a few days ago. “Finished reading, yet?” Luscina said with a cold voice. Varkha got up, rotated to Luscina’s face and took Luscina’s crown. Varkha then threw it.

Varkha woke up by her mom’s voice. “Huh?” Varkha said in mind. “Go, eat breakfast,” Her mom said. She would never believe all that journey was a dream. Varkha looked at the wall and saw a picture of Luscina without a text saying “How’d I get here?” in a frame.

To get your body used to fasting, it is a good idea to start fasting a few days before Ramadan begins. During Ramadan, it is important to manage your time effectively to make the most of this blessed month. Make a schedule that includes time for prayer, Quran recitation, and other spiritual activities.

Eating healthy and balanced meals is crucial during Ramadan to keep your energy levels up and stay healthy. Plan your meals in advance, and try to include foods that are high in protein, fiber, and healthy fats to keep you feeling full and satisfied throughout the day.

Darul Hikam Run 2023 (DH Run 2023)

Amazing! That’s the word that we can use to describe our special event: DH Run 2023. The event was held annually. This is the fourth and biggest DH Run with more than 3200 participants. There are many door prizes for the participants such as bicycles, televisions, refrigerator and the grand prizes 2 Honda Beat motorcycles and 1 round trip ticket Jakarta-Jeddah. All the participants were very excited and entertained. They participated by doing a fun run for 5 kilometers.

They started and finished running in front of the most iconic building in West Java, Gedung Sate. Besides running, there were some great events such as students’ performances. 5 students of DHIS Primary performed wushu on the big stage there and were applauded by the audiences.

At the end of the event, we would like to congratulate Mr Ridwan Fauzi (DHIS Primary Art Teacher) who won the grand prize Jakarta-Jeddah round trip ticket. Barakallah Mr Ridwan.

Commemoration of Isra Mi'raj 1444 H

Isra and Mi'raj, also known as Al Isra' wal Miraj, is commemorated on the 27th day of the month of Rajab, the seventh month in the Islamic calendar. This event marks the night that Allah Swt took Mohammad Saw on a journey from Masjidil Haram, Mecca to Masjidil Aqsa, Palestine and then to heaven to get the order from Allah SWT for every moslem to do Shalat five times a day.

To commemorate Isra Mi’raj, DHIS Primary students made a puppet show about the journey of Prophet Muhammad Saw to Sidratul Muntaha. The commemoration is continued by some competition such as deciding the movements or recitation of Shalat and making a scrapbook about Isra Mi’raj. The students are expected to use the commemoration of Isra Mi’raj as the moment to improve their prayers and show their taqwa characters.

Field Trip Semester 2 (2023)

Let’s learn outside! Wednesday and Thursday, 8-9 February 2023 is a special day for the students. They were able to visit different places in the field trip activity.

Primary 1 students went to the Science Center Soreang to have some science experiments. Primary 2 explored animals and plants at Bandung Zoological Garden.

Primary 3 went to Begonia Garden and learned how to make tofu at Pabrik Tahu Susu Lembang. Primary 4 had a great outdoor activity at Kampung Batu Malakasari.

Primary 5 learned the importance of recycling, reducing, and reusing waste by visiting Sekolah Kang Pisman and explored the beauty of Bandung by using Bandros (Bandung Tour on Bus).

Primary 6 had a factory visit to Twin Tulipware Factory. They were shown how to make reusable water bottles and learned the importance of reducing plastic in daily activity for our environment. Then, the students of DHIS Primary Buah Batu also had a great time by visiting Museum Pendidikan Nasional, Mupu Jeruk, and Amazing Art World.

The New Face of DHIS - Primary

Welcome back to school kiddos. After having about three weeks of holiday, the students are coming back to school with a great spirit and excitement. They are very excited because our school has a new spacious and comfortable building. The new Primary building has a land area of 448 square meters and a building area of 640 square meters. There are 9 new classrooms, 1 outdoor field, 14 toilets, wudhu area and 2 reading corners. Enjoy the new face of DHIS - Primary, everyone!

PESAIR 2022 (Pesantren Kelas Akhir 2022)

Primary 6 had a special event: PESAIR (Pesantren Kelas Akhir). The event is held for all of Darul Hikam students at their last grade (Grade 6, 9, and 12). For Grade 6, the event was held at Kampus Unisba 2 Ciburial with 22 participants from DHIS - Primary.

There are some activities during the event such as outbound activity, motivation, and life skills training. The students are excited to make new friends with Primary 6 students from SD 1 and SD 2 Darul Hikam. The students also had some religious activities such as doing Shalat Jamaah , Tahajjud , Reading Al Qur’an and Muhasabah. The students are expected to keep their spirit at doing ibadah and being disciplined as they have shown during PESAIR.

Students Day 2022

It’s time to perform! Students Day 2022 was finally held after it was postponed for 2 years because of the pandemic. In a big stage of Dago Tea House, the students showed great performance based on their extracurricular activity such as wushu, cinematography, korean club, choir, english club, STREAM Club, math club, and futsal. Beside the extracurricular performance, the finalists of My Project My Symposium did the grand final presentation on the stage and it was closed by the performance of DHIS Primary Got Talent finalists. The theme of the event “Show your talent, cultivate your passion” had been shown through the students’ awesome performance on the stage.

Field Trip Semester 1 (2022)

Thursday, 13 October 2022 is a special day for all primary students. They have the first offline field trip after two and a half years of pandemic. They were having fun while learning outside.

Most of the students were having outbound activities such as Primary 1 students going to Jendela Alam, Primary 2 to Grafika Cikole Lembang, and Primary 5 and 6 to Edukidzment Lembang.

They had some activities such as outbound games, recycling, painting, and archery. Primary 4 visited Puspa Iptek & Bale Seni Barli.

They had some exploration and scientific experiments and ended it by making batik and playing interactive angklung, a traditional musical instrument from West Java. Primary 3 students visited Lembang Park and Zoo. They had a great time seeing and interacting with many animals there. It was so fun.

MAHAKAM 2022 (Perkemahan Darul Hikam 2022)
